Welcome to the Town of Waddington, NY
Waddington, NY is a small close knit community of approximately 2,200 people located on the US- Canadian Border. Situated on the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River, Waddington has a front row seat to see International Ships sailing on the St. Lawrence Seaway, some of the best fishing opportunities, and the most spectacular sunsets that the North Country has to offer.
Waddington hosts a number of Recreational opportunities. Take advantage of the walking trails along the River that connect to the Town Beach. While there enjoy a family picnic, playground facilities, or take a swim at the fully staffed beach. From the beach continue the trail to the top of Leishman Point for breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River. Waddington is also host to local & International carp fishing tournaments and some of the best muskie, northern, and bass fishing in the area. If camping is your thing we also have “Coles Creek State Park” located within the boundaries of the Town as well as several locally owned/operated “Bed & Breakfasts”. The outskirts of town is dotted with family farms, green rolling fields, acres of woodlands, and historic bridges and homes. Waddington is proud of its community, its heritage, and the many features it has to offer all who visit us each year. We welcome you to join us any time of the year! |
