There will be a Waddington Summer Recreation Program to be held July 6th - August 10th. The program will run Monday- Friday 9AM - Noon for ages 5-12 at the Waddington Beach Pavilion. The program will follow all Covid-19 Regulations. To register for the program you may go online https://www.townofwaddington.com/recreationparks.html, by email firstname.lastname@example.org, or by printing an application below and bring on the 1st day of the program.
**Please note that due to COVID-19 regulations there will be NO BEACH BUS available. All attendees must be dropped off and picked up.

Swim Lesson Program Application
The Town and Village of Waddington have a Joint Recreation Commission. This Committee oversees the Recreation programs offered by the Municipality. During the Summer the Town of Waddington sponsors a swimming program complete with lessons from a certified swim instructor. There is a Morning Recreation program for children ages 5-12 years old. This program features playground games, board games, and arts & crafts.
Howard Park (Waddington Beach) offers the community a wonderful place to hold family gatherings, picnics, and special events. There is a pavilion complete with electrical outlets, picnic tables, and a gas grill available for a fee. The park also boasts clean restroom facilities, state of the art playground facilities, beach with full lifeguard staff, concession stand, picnic areas with charcoal grills, trails for hiking, and transient docking facilities for people coming to the park by boat.
Call 315-388-5629 to reserve the pavilion. Waddington residents can reserve as of January 1st. Non- Residents can reserve as of May 1st. There is a $100.00 deposit required of anyone reserving the pavilion. Deposit is returned upon inspection after event if all is cleaned up and no damage is done to the facility.

During the winter the Recreation Commission sponsors a skating program at the Donald Martin Civic Center. The ice is man-made so the schedule can be weather permitting. Ice time is also available for rent to groups such as skating clubs, hockey etc. Ice is usually available after December 15th. You can contact the Town Clerk or the Donald Martin Civic Center for ice conditions and availability.
